being wooed with the Help to Buy ISA with the

The much anticipated pension freedoms have
received an additional frisson with Mr Osborne’s
announcement that from April 2016 five million
pensioners will have access to their annuity without
paying the previous, punitive tax rate of 55%; it is
predicted that up to 250,000 will choose to cash in

DIY Investor Magazine brings you the usual mix of
expert authors offering their analysis on how to get

Conditions remain volatile of course.
There’s a general election on the horizon, the
outcome of which is anybody’s guess, and
continued uncertainty on the world economic
stage - not least the still troubled Eurozone.

FTSE 100 has closed higher than its previous peak
back in 1999!
The leading index is a very different beast from
the one found on the eve of the millennium - a dot

We have received very encouraging feedback
to the video content that has been embedded
in recent issues and the good news is that this
is currently being collated to build the definitive
educational resource for self directed investors
with DIY Investor Magazine now available to an
audience of almost 600,000.
As always get in touch if there’s anything you’d
like to see on the magazine.
In the meantime, happy new tax year.

ANYBODY’S GUESS, AND CONTINUED
UNCERTAINTY ON THE WORLD ECONOMIC STAGE
